Congressional Candidate Vernon Robinson To Hold Machine Gun Social And Fundraiser PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - He's known for eschewing political correctness, and now 8th District congressional candidate Vernon Robinson is set to hold a "Machine Gun Social and Fundraiser" Thursday night in Concord. 

 
"Help 2nd Amendment supporter Vernon Robinson in his race for Congress," reads Robinson's invitation posted  on his website.
 "Fire off 1 magazine of a fully-automatic submachine gun. Take home your target. Show your friends."
 
Cost to participate is $50 per person. The event will be held at the Indoor Range at Eagle Gun.
 
Robinson is seeking the Repubican nomination in the race. His primary opponents include Richard Hudson, Scott Keadle, Fred Steen, and John Whitley.
 
Democrat Larry Kissell is the District 8 incumbent. Kissell faces Marcus Williams in the May 8 primary.
