Senior adviser Steve Neuman and Communications Director Jon Romano worked their last days for Perdue on Friday. Both joined the administration last year.

 

Neuman is taking a job with the federal political action committee of Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley. Neuman previously worked in Barack Obama's North Carolina presidential campaign in 2008.

 

Romano is joining the communications staff of a campaign co-founded by North Carolina native Erskine Bowles and ex-Sen. Alan Simpson of Wyoming to build support to fix the nation's debt problems.

 

Perdue lobbyist Courtney Crowder left the administration recently to start his own consulting firm.

 

Perdue's term in office ends in early January.
