N.C.'s Ending Cash Balance As Of May 11: $1,788,123,570.28 PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - As of Friday, May 11, North Carolina's ending cash balance was $1,788,123,570.28 according to State Controller David McCoy. The unreserved cash balance stood at $648,823,253.58

 
In his weekly General Fund Cash Watch, McCoy reports the state's Monday, May 7 cash balance was $1,806,471,264.39. 
 
The state added tax and non-tax receipts totalling $289,401,561.06.
 
Disbursements were made for payroll ($76,755,545.30); State Aid ($141,431,677.96); Medicaid/Other Provider Payments ($460,593,980.63); Tax Refunds/Distributions ($94,672,129.71); and General Operating ($169,772,940.10).
 
After subtracting reserved cash, the state's unreserved cash balance stood at $648,823,253.58.
