RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - As of Friday, March 30, North Carolina's ending cash balance was $1,054,449,319, according to State Controller David McCoy. The unreserved cash balance stood at $(373,975,096).
In his weekly General Fund Cash Watch, McCoy reports the state's March 26 beginning cash balance was $1,712,487,438.
The state added tax and non-tax receipts totalling $346,713,792 and other receipts of $506,016,253.
Disbursements were made for payroll ($984,046,932), State Aid ($183,958,301), Medicaid/Other Provider Payments ($206,752,087), Tax Refunds/Distributions ($58,824,085), Debt Service ($383,108), and General Operating ($76,083,649.
After subtracting reserved cash, the state's unreserved cash balance totalled $(373,975,096).
