WILMINGTON, (AP) — Wilmington has a deal for a $37 million minor league baseball stadium.

If voters approve in November.

Mandalay Baseball late Thursday afternoon confirmed the details of the 20-year agreement with the city and the Atlanta Braves.

Braves' executive vice president Mike Plant says he thinks the multi-use stadium will boost Wilmington.

Rich Neumann with Mandalay Baseball says he hopes voters will see that the project will transform downtown Wilmington.

Final approval from city council could come Tuesday. The plan calls for the city to spend no more than $31 million for the stadium and about $6 million for the site.

The plan calls for 6,200 seats, with the stadium to be completed in time for the 2014 or 2015 season.
