7 Cities And Counties Register Liaisons With Secretary Of State's Office PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Seven local governments are listed in the latest edition of North Carolina's official lobbying directory released by the Secretary of State's office. 

 
A local government liaison works for the government entity. The person's primary job is to lobby the legislature for the government entity. 
 
The directory lists four counties and three municipalities as having registered liaisons. They are:
 
Durham County
Forsyth County
Gaston County
Mecklenburg County
City of Charlotte
City of Wilmington
Town of Garner
 
The new directory also lists 744 lobbyists by the lobbyists' last name and 845 principals by the principals' name. Eighty-two state agency liaisons are also detailed by agency.
