Wilmington International Airport Sees Drop In Passengers But Increase In Freight PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Data released by Wilmington International Airport shows the number of passengers in and out of the airport decreased in June when compared with May figures, but the amount of outgoing freight increased during the same period.

 
Passengers leaving from Wilmington in June totaled 36,442. That's down more than 600 from May.  rriving passengers stood at 36,872, 200 less than the number who traveled to Wilmington in May.
 
The airport's freight numbers were more positive. During June, the amount of outgoing freight increased by about 2,500 pounds over the May figure. Incoming freight was down in June, however.
