FORT BRAGG, (AP) — The Fort Bragg command that oversees thousands of soldiers in the Army's Special Forces, Rangers and psychological operations is changing the general at the top.

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command holds a change of command ceremony on Tuesday at the unit's headquarters at Fort Bragg.

Lt. Gen. John Mulholland is relinquishing command to Maj. Gen. Charles Cleveland. Like Mulholland before him, Cleveland previously commanded Special Operations Command Central, which oversees special operations forces in the Middle East.

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Raymond T. Odierno is hosting the Fort Bragg ceremony.
