Dr. Vik Rao, executive director of RTEC in RTP, tells host Barlow Herget that the natural gas that is now available because of new technology such as fracking will change the state's economy and chemical industry. Rao explains the principal problems with fracking technology, which are serious. He believes these problems can be solved and that the state should repeal its law prohibiting fracking but require restraints.
